Womenís Booties
Winter 2010 ñ 2011 has seen a major trend in womenís booties and every major designer is represented in this yearís collection. From Ed Hardy to, believe it or not, Carlos Santana, womenís booties are hot and getting hotter every day. While many boots this year are to the knee and above, booties actually seem to be just as trendy and add comfort into the mix. While you would expect them to be flat soled shoes, some sport wedges and heels as well. In order to see whatís trending, just consider what Hardy or Santana have on the market and youíll get a glimpse into what women are buying.
Ed Hardy has a round toe pull on bootie that is manufactured with a suede upper and faux fur lining. Of course the signature peace and love skull graphic is prominent on the black bootie while the flower and swallow graphic is on the grey bootie. The Ed Hardy logo is emblazoned on the side of both styles. Ed Hardy is huge with the counterculture fashionistas and you will mostly see these booties on the younger crowd.
On the other hand, Carlos Santanaís line of footwear can be worn by a much broader range of women. The Bossy, Gatsby, Reign and Glow booties can be effectively and gracefully worn by any woman of any age and are even suitable for the workplace. From suede to red patent leather and in wedges or heels, Santanaís line is amazingly attractive. As an added plus, they are reasonably priced which will keep you dancing as long as Santana continues playing the music.
